Overview
2020 has brought a lot of both challenges and opportunities. For all of us, it has been an intense and unique experience. As we are nearing the end of the year, we propose to take a few moments together to reflect on what we gained and what we let go of, the baggage we don’t need or want to carry through the threshold into the new year.
This two-session programme will offer you:
An opportunity to appreciate and fructify the positive and to touch and transform the difficulties we’ve met this year.
After a short introduction, we’ll explore this through a guided meditation, with some time for sharing personal reflections at the end.
We’d like to offer this as a way to make space for what can come next, with the support of a safe space and loving community.
Dates, times & Preparation
The course will unfold in two sessions (of approximately two hours each) on 20th December 2020 and 10th January 2021, for approximately 3.5 hours in total (around 1 hour and 45 mintues minutes for each of the two sessions).
Both sessions would run from 5:30pm to around 7:15pm IST (India time).
To make the best of the process, you will receive a few open questions to explore for yourself before each session.
Session 1 — 20 Dec 2020 — 5:30pm to ~7:15pm IST: In the first session, we’ll focus on reflecting on what we’ve learned this year and letting go of unwanted baggage to make space for what’s next.
Session 2 – 10 Jan 2021 — 5:30pm to ~7:15pm IST: In the second session, we’ll focus on the possibilities that have emerged at the end of 2020 and that we would like to nourish for 2021.
Conditions of participation:
Since the programme is interactive, you will get the best results by joining the calls and participating live.
There will be homework assignments (e.g. reflections and journaling) between the first and second call, which all participants are expected to do before the second call in order to keep up with the group experience.
About your facilitator :
Tuition fee (optional donation)
100% of the tuition fees donated for this course will be used to provide safe employment for our village artisans who otherwise would be unemployed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Your donation directly supports them to keep earning and feeding their families. Recognizing that our participants come from diverse backgrounds, we are providing a sliding scale with three tiers, to make it possible for everyone to donate according to their means.
Total fees for the whole course (consisting of two sessions of approximately two hours each) are as follows:
Low standard rate: Rs 1000 (US $14)
Supporter rate (for those who can afford to give more to support the villagers): Rs 2000 (US $28)
Subsidized rate (for those who can’t afford the standard rate): Rs 500 (US $7)
We do not want cost to be a barrier to anyone’s participation, so if you have financial hardship and cannot afford even the lowest subsidized rate, you can donate a smaller amount, or contact us to let us know your situation and your needs.
